In 2010 I started investigating the wearable wireless medical device market opportunities. I funded a $30,000 design project. I ran into numerous complex engineering issues in designing CWD-1 Cardiac Wireless Device.

    1. Power consumption.
    2. Signal integrity with a floating ground.
    3. Human interface mechanical design meeting FDA requirements.
    4. Lack of a single chip solution with an integrated radio.

The $30,000 seed funding was barely enough to build a proto. We needed at least $100K to make a product. I’d like o learn more about WBAN solutios.

    Thanks, Henry
